Forschungsprojekt TheraTex, DXM–kunsthochschule weißensee berlin, 2021
This prototype was developed within the TheraTex research project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The sensors of a motion capture suit require close contact with the body, traditionally achieved by pulling them tightly using numerous loops and straps after putting on the suit. Individuals with hemiparesis, due to their restrictions, often find it challenging to put on clothing, particularly those with a snug fit. Hence, this prototype was designed to overcome this obstacle, enabling the sensors to be drawn close to the body automatically, even when wearing loose-fitting garments.
